a lot of this BPO companies are rip-offs .. God I got a call from this bpo business wanting to pay me $15 for a bpo - i just laugh at him really loud

P.A.S has always been good to me. I have been an agent with them through three (3) companies and usually attend the annual agent meeting.

I have found the benefit that I have gotten from doing BPO / Price Opinions is not the $$$$$, but gaining insight and access to the marketplace... finding out what current neighborhoods are having the most trouble (from the inside and getting paid while doing my research) and also it lets me know how certain companies are pricing their inventory.

Sold an asset recently that was handled by a smaller company here in the LA area, I knew how much flexibility was in the pricing and attacked it head on. My client is closed and happy.

Does anyone else look at BPO's as market research?

I have had these requests also. The ones that they wanted me to do though I never had to leave my desk. All I had to do was look to see if the property was listed on the local MLS or not. If it was send them the MLS sheet if not tell them that. I think though I got $20.00. I did it being I didnt have to leave my desk and it took me less than 5 min.

I have 2 files of companies that have paid me on BPO's and REO's. I tried to attach but they are to big.

BTW Morgan, Don't you think a 19.5kb limit is a little small? I can't even upload a simple text file from Word maybe bump it up to 50 or something?
