Quality and originality always win over content that is posted from somewhere else.
Having said that, many people make a fortune in just tracking down RSS feeds and posting them on their websites as content.
You can have one , or both , but having quality, original content is a VERY good thing.
For instance, I started my own article submission website (
http://article-trend.com). I have asked for ONLY unique , original content from contributors. We've only been accepting articles for 3 days now, and the juice from google is already starting to flow, and indexing with google within 30 minutes.
