Social media sites are an okay source of traffic for me but it is a lot of work.

I get most of my traffic by having my blog as part of blogging communities like technorati and other places like that.

Also, when it is an exceptionally good blog entry, I send I submit it to digg.com and mixx.com where ai get a small amount of traffic from those.
