I use Media Temple (mediatemple dot net) to host my Wordpress blogs. One hosting account allows me to host 99 domains/separate installs of WP blogs (no, I am not using them all!).
Their "gridserver" is a shared system, and seems to work quite well. I think it's $20/month, plus I pay an additional $20/month for a MySQL "burst container" -- which you don't need unless you have a fairly significant amount of traffic.
MT had some uptime issues in the beginning but seem to have turned the corner.
I've heard good things about BlueHost.
I'd avoid GoDaddy. Been there, done that.
If you have an REW site though, as mentioned, I'd give very serious consideration to their integrated blog platform.
