I didn't see DMOZ listed... Although it's tough to get in, it's an EXCELLENT free link.
re: getting your Hubpages score above 75:
- Create a profile, and include your picture. No one wants to visit a hub that doesn't have a person behind it. (It's OK to include a backlink or two in your profile.)
- Write ONE good article (hub). (Make it "general interest" - not about your area. 99.9% of people don't care about "your city real estate", but they'd all like to know how to get the best rate on their loan.
- After you post your one article, comment on 10 or 20 of the top hubbers' hubs, and fan them so you can keep on top of new hubs they write. Within a week, you'll have a score above 75, and all links on future articles will be "dofollow". They'll also have more juice because of all the backlinks from all of your comments.
