I'm a local celebrity! I was on a local radio station (WGN am) along with the guy that scooped up my domain name (he got more "voice time" than me because the dj was on my side & wanted to point fingers at the other guy). Actually, the kid came off pretty good & they were nice to him.
However, they did try to get him to admit it wasn't a very ethical thing to do. And he also admitted that he purchased my url because it was so high in the serps.
My husband recorded the interview although I haven't listened to it yet. I was running around trying to get away from my granddaughter who was not "being quiet while gramma is on the phone" this time. I was waiting for all the dogs to start barking. I even ran out in the cold without a coat for a second while talking.
I even heard from an agent in San Diego who caught
this article explaining everything. This article was actually better than the original one I had read and much better than the extremely edited ones that are in the local rags. At least they printed my new url (although I didn't get a link - darn).
