Default Featured Listing spot in side nav bar

When I first started my Cook County site I had asked for the featured listing square on my left sidebar but never got it and didn't ask again. Can this still be done? I would like it right under my main nav menu & above the Quick Contact form. Thanks.

Thank you - I've waited quite some time (my own fault) & now that the biz is slowing down I'm trying to work more on my sites.

Hey Judy. Your sidenav already has a lot of links/etc. in it. How about a little snippet that would go into your content area?

That would be fine. Doesn't necessarily have to be in the sidebar.

Hi Judyo!-

Aaron and myself got your featured listing up. I didn't go crazy with the formatting because I wasn't sure what you wanted, so if you want any changes--- let me know and I'll get to them asap.

Phil

Thanks Phil. However, things aren't formatting properly on my browser (the dots preceding Buyers & Sellers are half hidden by the Featured Property box). I suppose I could get rid of that list formatting but was wondering if it could be fixed.

How can I choose which property I want featured? The listing currently featured is already sold & I see that it's random, showing another sold listing when I refresh. I'd like to be able to choose a specific listing & be able to change it myself. If not that, at least only show random Active listings.

The box itself seems large with too much empty space between the photo and address. It still looks large, though. I don't remember other REW featured listings being so big. Seems like it's taking up too much of my own home page real estate - LOL!

In fact, I'd still prefer it located in my left side nav area between Quick Contact and Resources. Wouldn't it just increase the content space by adding some more white space at the bottom? I'd prefer that than having it within the content. In fact, if it could be made a bit smaller it wouldn't cause too much extra white space. Please let me know. Thanks so much!

Hi Judy,

Phil and Myself have moved your Featured listing into the Navigation.

I've added a Radio Button in The CMS listings - where you can select which ones you would like to be featured.

This is so much better and I'd try to make this requested change myself but I'm afraid I'll goof it up. Upon viewing it, I'm thinking it would be best located under the main nav menu and before the Quick Contact Form so it's more visible. Love the selection buttons!

Thanks again!
