Default Wharton School of Business Survey

Some Students at the Wharton School of Business are running a survey for a project they are doing on real estate. They would like to get your input. They are offering a I-Pod Nano sweepstakes for those who participate. The link to participate is below:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=306822637759

Once the survey is complete, they will be posting the results of the survey on the actually it is against REW's rules

I don't know how cool it is to post a link to another forum.... but I do know there's a three link limit in the sig file though.

I am not trying to promote REF, I am only trying to help the students. I just wanted to let members know where they can find the results when they are available. Feel free to remove it if you need.

OH, I See....Your are talking about the SIG. I agree and it has been removed.

Actually sitetutor, it is against our TOS - this is commonly referred to as member fishing / poaching - if you have something to say, say it here at REW, don't refer members to other forums that will say the same thing as you should have posted here in the first place, its especially suspect when it is the forum owner posting.

So for future reference, it is absolutely against our terms of service

I am not sure but I dont think SiteTutor owns the forums they posted to. They do own the RealEstateForums Dot Com I know of that for certian. Also just so everyone knows Mike Dammann use to work for SiteTutor until he no longer worked there. (Fired, Quit, asked to Leave Im not sure exactly) I dont want to get in the middle of that but there is some bad blood between them. Anyways just some backround info. Also just to be perfectly clear Sitetutor designed my site but only does my hosting now. I feel they did a great job (Great Onpage SEO, and gave great advice and basically taught me both On Page and Off Page SEO) The one flaw in there websites is unless you are a web designer or wanna pay a lot of money you cannot add or edit pages. Anyways that is my 2c on Sitetutor.

I would laugh if this wasnīt so sad, Cedar. Itīs one thing to tell a lie, itīs another thing to blindly repeat someone elseīs lie without even knowing the details. However, you are a great mouthpeace. Someone should hire you as a spokesperson or an insurance claim adjuster.

Cedar;
I agree with MD about this being pathetic. (and with VRI that it is uncool as well.). Let's take a hypothetical situation and play it out and sees if 'y'all agree.

Let's say that you have the #1 real estate site in your area. As part of making your site a more informative and better place you offer other LOCAL REALTORS (direct competitors of yours) the chance to put their opinions and thoughts on YOUR site.
Hell, you even gave them the ability to link to THEIR site.

Let's say that the ONLY thing that you asked them NOT to do was to blatantly self promote and not to FISH or direct traffic by answering questions or thoughts that could legitimately be answered on YOUR site on YOUR site rather than directing them elsewhere. Oh, and you ask them to limit the number of links to 3.

Let's just say that someone violated that...How patient would you be? Would you think it pathetic? Would you think it was kinda uncool?

I kinda do. (actually I think you'd likely be kinda bent about it.)

Would whether or not they were a good REALTOR matter? (Don't think so...)

Just one guy's opinion. (and FTR-I've never met nor have ever been a customer of either.) I just happen to agree with Mike and VRI on this one.

Best;

Eric
