I am at the number 1 or 2 spot on every search engine. About 300 on Google. Any ideas why.

It is more difficult to get good organic rankings on Google. It takes time, content and incoming links from trusted sites.

One of your primary problems is that your homepage has 252 HTML validation errors on it. Google is notorious for not likeing invalidated HTML. Try fixing up the code first and then buy the **** tool and analyze your SEO- they will make some quality suggestions on how to fix up the site to specifically rank better in Google

Not a shred of truth to that. If the bot can understand the text, it doesnt matter.

In Matt Cutts' SEO answers video he cited a statistic from Eric Brewer that stated 40% of all HTML pages have syntax errors. A search engine can't remove 40% of the content from its index just because someone didn't validate or something. A lot of high-quality content out there (especially content that's handmade) that doesn't validate.

Matt also said "We don't have a signal like that in our algorithms, and it's probably for a good reason."

He said that in general it's a good idea to have your code validate, but he wouldn't prioritize it as the most important thing to do to your site. He said that first you make a great site with compelling content, and then go back and "dot the i's and cross the t's" for the purpose of good accessibilty. Validation doesnt matter as much to the search engines.
