Default Secure Access Pages

I want to create a secure access page for clients and other agents to logon to my website to view contracts that are uploaded in PDF format. What I want is a templated page (that I would create) that can be recreated for numerous transactions and hold up to 10 documents. The template would simply update clients on pertinent timelines for the closing process and allow them to download/review necessary documents for their review. It doesn't need to be anything overly complicated, a simple template should work for this. Is this enough information to provide an estimate for cost?

If you need further clarification around this please let me know.

We will definitly need more clarification - are you wanting a backend created that you can author PDF documents? Are you wanting to edit these PDF's online? This is very complicated -

An easier route - we could build you a custom app (Hack the CMS) that would allow you to be able upload PDFs that you create on your PC

In terms of secure area - creating a page that requires a login and password is super easy, however from here what happens? Are you wanting to be able to create custom user accounts per visitor, are you wanting the ability to limit what an individual user can view, or can everyone that logs in see everything?

This can be a few hours, or a few hundred hours - we really need to understand the level of complexity on this one - be as specific as possible please.

I don't need/want anything that is overly complicated. I DO NOT need to be able to create or author PDFs online.

This would work perfectly...I already create PDF on my PC and I simply want to be able to upload them to my site[/quote]

What I would like to have is something similar to how the IDX Registration works now - with a client being able to create a user account and, once they register (submit a form) they are given access to view their page - which will have uploaded PDF documents relevant to their transaction as well as relevant links for them to click to view updates on the marketing of their home. Depending on the cost/time to set this up (which I assume is on the "few hours" end of the spectrum rather than the "few hundred hours" end) I might be interested in setting another secure access that will allow agents my team is working with to logon and get documents, inspections, etc. that have been uploaded for review/download.

A few hours sounds good - I'm looking for something simple...a page where I can upload PDFs and format a templated page for each of my clients (I can create something that we could use for this) that acts as a central hub of their entire transaction...

Let me know if this helps - it may be that I would need to talk this through with someone on the phone real quick to get on the same page.

Hey Morgan...hope all is well with the baby if it's arrived...if not...I'm sure it won't be long. Just curious if you might take a look at this last post here now that Aaron has created a way to upload PDF's using the backend of the CMS. Would creating a "password accessed" property page be difficult? I assume it would along the same lines as the IDX registration on my site, but I'm not sure. Any insight on the cost of creating something like I've desribed above would be cool.

It would not be difficult. I think you'd want some kind of user management as well. We figure it would take less than six hours to implement all of this for you.

Yes, I would definitely want some kind of user management. Less than six hours...perfect. Let me take a look at my budget again for the month and I will get back with you.
