press releases
First I am not a webmaster - I am a Realtor - just in case my question sounds stupid. Some say they get a lot of improvement in ranking thru press releases. I would appreciate any opinions on this and any advise on doing this. Thanks. Wayne

It really depends on the quality of your press releases and the level of submission you choose - www.prweb.com is the best press release site out there and they have an option that allows you to embed text links into your press releases - this is very helpful for one way contentually related links which will help with rankings - in terms of quality, the better quality or more interesting your press release the more it will be picked up and distributed throughout the web, so more links!

I am currently writing an article about the areas I market to. Do I need to write different articles to submit to different sites to avoid dup content or is this not really the same thing as dup content on my website?

Wayne,
I am writing an article about the areas I serve to publish so when I get it finished I will email it to you. If you get any good feedback from this thread let me know as I am interested in coming up with a press release of some sort myself. I just had REW create a site for me about 3 weeks ago, but, I think I should have more to say than just go to my website in a press release.
