Default Real Estate Contact Form

on your Buyers or Sellers contact form, do you require phone numbers to be provided or just the basic First, last name with Email .... and should I require Phone number from now on?

and risk losing that contact?

I say no, you are lucky just getting an email address. Ask for the telephone number in the first email response.

Provide a field so that those that don't mind will fill it in, but those that don't want to, still will send you email etc

I currently require NO fields, but have fields available for phone and email (whichever type is convenient to the consumer). About 35% -40% of the time they provide phone numbes as well.

It kind of tips my agents off as to how serious they are...we respond differently to those who provide a lot more info than the rest because we know that they are likely at a decision point. (We do respond quickly to all of them...)

Best;

Eric
