I just had REW create a new site for me last week and the homepage is indexed with all three. Google has about 7 pages from the new site indexed already. I don't remember but I think it took MSN about 2 months. Have you submitted your site to be indexed?

honestly MSN indexes pretty quickly..quicker than Google I believe..The key is getting link trades going right away..If you have other site's, link to your new ones..the quicker you get indexed site's linking to you - the quicker you will get indexed..I've been indexed by MSN in as little as 3-4 days

Indexing usually only takes a few days, up to a week maybe. Actual top rankings in the SE's can take up to a year depending on the SE.

Strange because MSN usually indexes within a few days and allows sites to show up in searches, too; Google takes much longer.

It took nearly 3 months for our first site to be indexed in Google. Same for our second site. Nevermind the link exchanges, articles, press releases, old-fashioned site submission, Google site map, etc., that should have lead their little spiders right to our door. By the third site, we had signed up for Google Adwords. Funny thing happened...every site we've launched since for ourselves or clients, we've bought low-bid (30˘ to 40˘ per keyword phrase/$3.00 daily max limit) in Adwords and every site was indexed in Google within 2 weeks of launch. Coincidence??

Being indexed is not the same as showing up for keyword searches. Being indexed means being added to the search engine's database so when someone does a search for the site by name (mywebsite.com), the title and description of the site show up in the results.
