PubCon Las Vegas 2006

Who's going to be there?

(I haven't posted in a while because I've had some medical issues that have kept me sidelined for the last couple of months, but that inactivity is ending, effective NOW).

Since I'll be at PubCon in Las Vegas, I want to meet everyone who is going to be there, and I'm assuming several of you will be there. My phone number is temporarily listed in my signature and that phone number will be forwarded to my cell phone during the convention/conference.

I'll be registering sometime during the day on the 13th, driving my souped-up VW GTI from Orange County to Las Vegas, hoping not to get speeding tickets, but willing to risk it.

If you show up and introduce yourself to me, I'll buy you an alcoholic beverage (or a non-alcoholic beverage, if you prefer).

First of all, good to have you back on REW! I hope whatever it was healthwise is behind you! I wish I was going to PUBCON...I'd love to meet some of the more west coast folks in person...

Be careful with that souped up GTI and the long straight road to Las Vegas! (Not only the CHP but then there's the other guy to look out for--just ask Sam Kinison! (grin)) Be safe and have a great time at PubCon...

...and while I know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas--send us Easterners and Northerners a little info report if you can.

I wasn't aware of what PubCon was, so I googled it, and came up with the following site. Looks like it will be a good event, and there is a hefty discount given to those who register online.

Wish I could be there bro, we didn't do nearly enough drinking ahem I mean "serious web discussing" down at Google - but alas, I have a 7.5 month pregnant wife and an anniversary that week - Going to Vegas on your anniversary while the wife is 7.5 months pregnant = dog house for at least 10 years I believe

I didn't go last year because it was 2 weeks before my wifes due date and she put her foot down. I did have the balls (or stupidity) to ask, didn't go over very good.

I will be there on Thurs 9th - Friday 17th. My cell is on the header of my site for anyone going. Look forward to meeting Terry, Bob, and Matt, is anyone else going?

Bob: Since I am going to drive, I'll be in sometime in the late afternoon or early evening.

Morgan: Good call, but you and I probably need to talk on the phone at some point in the near future.

Eric: I got a speeding ticket today. Therefore, I blame you.

I've got a list of eleven people so far. Maybe 12, but one is iffy so far.
