As we all know one of the most important thing you can do to increase your google rankings is to obtain quality Real Estate related links to your website. I am currently feeling like I have ran out of places to find and obtain quality links. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where or how I could go about searching these links out.

Morgan had a thread a couple of weeks ago (I think) for anyone interested in renting links. I'm sure if he's getting a few for clients they've gotta be pretty decent. You might try PMing him to see if they're still available.

This link might be an option for someone looking for one way links. But then again, maybe not. I will throw it up for someone's thoughts or opinions.

Hi City - I wouldn't spend too much time on submitting to lots of directories, 90% are really poor, and will take your money then list in a poor "un cached" page ... go for directories that have a min page rank of 5.

Another good way is to buy say 20 or 50 pr3+ real estate links (not directory related) ... good sources for this is: Getafreelancer.com or Elance.com - register with them and post a project - have a play around before you post, search "Links" and see what others are looking for, i've been using both sites for many years and can recommend them.

Also go down the article, and pr route, the pr route can be costly (prweb) but very good for serps, and has an excellent distribution worldwide!

Im looking at Articles and PR's and while they arent quite the quality I am looking for it seems they are about as good as it gets. I am also going to start exchanging links again to make sure I keep getting links from realtors again. I guess I have just been slcaking a little to much lately.

I just do internet searches for high quality sites that I'd like to exchange links with then I send them a letter.

For every thousand or so letters I get a few good links....

Also it's pretty easy to see who other realtors link to and just as easy to send letters to them.

LOL I shouldnt admit this i do sort of the same thing. I go through google for my competitors and then other high ranking sites links and then send them letters.

It does not have to be your local competitors it can be other Realtors in Alaska, California, Florida etc..... Then search out which ones are indexed, high PR, Dmoz and yahoo directory listed.

For your letters make each one special, don't just mass mail a bunch of crap. Give them a good reason to link to you, and for god sake check your spelling and use of the English language.

I get 5-10 request a day that say something like

" I request link exchange from you, blah blah blah..."
These go directly into the trash.
