Default Do G Adwords Improve Rankings

I wouldn't think that they do, but, I don't know. Anyone have an answer?

Well I canīt prove it of course but what I noticed in G and Y that your site will be spidered much more and your site will climbe faster. If you stop them you get the reverse. PR I donīt know.

I don't think it directly improves rankings however it does improve traffic dramatically and that will lead to more people doing searches for your site and linking to your site which leads to more spidering and eventually your site rankings should improve. This of course assumes you have good content and a search engine friendly design.

While I am not going to agree or disagree with the posts above, ANY benefit it RREAALLLLYY indirect and therefore a stretch--if there is any benefit at all. My vote is for ZERO benefit. Definately not worth the time or money to do if your goal is SEO.
Tons of better ways to spend your time and money...

I would Only use AdWords to generate traffic for it's own sake and measure the ROI from adwords alone. (IMHO)

As far as spidering goes, there are a few really good ways to do that.

1) Fresh, frequent content (G! will spider you more often if it sees that you are making frequent changes and adding fresh content.)

2) Don't link into questionable sites (G! will visit you less often per Mr. Cutts)

3) Before PCDoc says it--Sitemaps! (They help with #1--actually)

Best;

Eric

No. They have no impact at all.
