I am considering a purchase of

SEO Software "Web CEO"

Anybody have feedback they can offer on this product? If not, maybe a referral for similar SEO product?

I (personally) am not a big fan of automated SEO software in general. Here's my convoluted logic on the subject:

If I can buy it, so can my competitor(s). And they will.

When they buy it and everytone is using it, then I am no longer "unique".
SE s want unique and original content.

More importantly, consumers want unique and original content.
SEs will see this and will eventually (sooner rather than later) change their algos accordingly in order to protect relevance.

When they change, I will then either have to MANUALLY undo what the automated software has done or buy another AUTOMATED tool (that everyone else is using...in which case the problem continues...)

It is easier to be more adaptable and unique when doing things by hand, with a few carefully written in house scripts to aid me in making things a little bit quicker--and not throwing the logic behnd those tools around everywherre so that everyone does the same thing.

I hope that logic makes sense--I am running on very little sleep...(grin)

I do get WEbCEO's email (I am on their mailing list...) but have not tried their stuff out past an initial look/see...

I use web CEO, but only for their ranking reports (They are easy to use and look pretty) - But I would never use them (Or any other SEO software) to actually apply my SEO, I am also of the opinion of hard work by hand wins the race and there were some great points made above about SEO softwares, competition and adaptablility. In fact Eric is a pretty darn good candidate for the next mod nominations here at REW

First off, thanks for the knd words on the post...coming from you, that means something--errr... a lot actually. This place has been great to me, and hopefully I can pass a few things back so it isn't all one-way.
