O.K. I have FTP access to my blog now and I uploaded a sticky plug-in and a few new themes. I changed the header to include my company logo and I would like to get some opinions on where to go with this thing. Here is the blog. I don't think I have any incoming links except from my website and I'm not sure what kind would be best or if it is necessary. I have some topics that I will write about to fill in some categories on this weekend so I would like some opinions of where to go from here. One question - I replaced the old header with the one you see, however, the text does not show up even though it shows up when I look at the .png file when I replaced the old header. How do I fix that?

Sorry not a programer but you know it is thanksgiving break right. Post it on Monday again

I'm not sure about fixing the header, either. It's always a trial & error thing for me. I do have some ideas on how to progress with your blog.

I always try to get a post in about my main website. Here's an example of what I mean:

Cook County Real Estate Blog

When I want to put up a quick post without having any fresh ideas I'll try to introduce a feature on my website & create a link back to the site with good anchor text. This will hopefully bring prospects into my site that might have found my blog first (since it outranks my sites for some kw's).

Another thing you'll notice is that I try to provide graphics/photos to break up too much text. Makes for a more interesting read.

Thanks for the feedback Judyo. I haven't had a chance to play around with the header at all today. Maybe tomorrow. You have a very nice looking blog. Very easy to look at on the eyes.
