Default DMOZ vs. Title

Why does "G" sometimes use the DMOZ description and some times uses the title description?

Is there a way to dictate which one they will use?

Or is it simply that they use the DMOZ on the main page and Title description on the interior pages?

I have been trying for months to correct my DMOZ title, but they are on a back up system of sorts and that function is not available, but that is a different thread.

Default Re: DMOZ vs. Title

Stupid me. I did a search in REW and found a thread that mentioned this slightly.

It says to enter <META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="NOODP"> to get "G" to stop using the ODP.

I placed it in my "Default Meta Description"......... Is this correct? and does this cause it to divert directly to the Title?

Here is G's page
