Are you planning on replacing your current WP blog with the REW Blog? I think this is what I am going to do. I would like to copy and paste some of my old posts before I get rid of the WP blog and I was wondering about dup content. Any thoughts on how you all will be doing this type of thing? Or just start from scratch?

Thank you (still off subject). Do you have an REW blog and is that a custom IDX?

Yes it is by far and AWAY a custom IDX by REW. It's not done yet, will add a custom Google search capability after the first of the year and tweak a few things.
I have a blog on my site (www.Memphis-RealEstate.net/blog) from WP that REW set up, but do not as of yet have a new fang dangled REW blog ( I will once available).

Custom Idx is a little down the road for me. I like yours a lot. As for the REW Blog, I went ahead and added my listings, deleted my most recent post that wasn't cached from the old blog and started getting on with it on the new one. Once I get a couple of more posts up, I will see if they will just do away with the WP blog and link me over to the REW. I would still like some other peoples thoughts.

As for me, I am going to continue both blogs..on different subjects...using unique posts that are aimed (geotargeted) towards different areas...
Best; Eric

I guess, for me, the reason for using one blog is simply a matter of convenience. I don't see how having a second real estate blog will be more beneficial than 1. Especially if the REW blog will carry more weight with SE's. Anything that I can write for two, I can write for one. On the other hand, if it can be shown (with any degree of reasonablility to me) that it would be bertter to run 2 blogs, then I will. As it stands right now, with either blog, I can set up seperate pages for different submarkets anyway so it just seems easier to use the better of the two blogs for all of my posts.
