Default Couple questions REW blog and my current blog

All right time to get serial about blogging again.

So here are some quick questions for decisions I need to make.
  1. Currently (last 3 months) when I go to moderate blog remarks by others I get a 404 error. All these posts are from some automated "who is query". So I can't post comments either for any posts. Can somebody fix this for me and add an element that will protect me from the automated form fillers by spammers? I don't mind paying for it.
  2. If I switch to an REW blog, will I be able to add tags below for the keywords I want technorati to note (see any of my posts for an example). Right now I just use the html mode to add the tags after writing any posts.
  3. Can my REW blog be formatted to match my current website template w/ a horizontal menu bar at top?
  4. I assume photos can be added?
  5. Can my current content of the blog---heavy, meaty articles I've written--be migrated to a new REW blog?
  6. How long would it take and what charge since there would be real work involved?
  7. Finally, can you give me some blog examples of REW templates/websites where the REW blog has been integrated into their website? I'd really like to see because I'm having a tough time from the generic REW blog form envisioning how it would flow with the rest of one's website, but I'm sure it's been done very well by you. But I'd like some samples.
  8. Can one not have the 3rd party advertising displayed on the REW blog?

I look forward to some answers to all the above so I can make some decisions. Up to 110 first time users a day! Yay REW! I've referred you to 2 people this week. Do you have some mortgage templates to view as I've been helping a lender and am recruiting lenders for him and the subject has come up daily in my conversations with them. If you have a sample lender website/template you've done or sell let me know & I have several people to send it to.

Best regards,

jay

Shameless bump

I'd really like to move forward on this topic as I've really moved forward w/ my rankings and want to be adding content weekly. But I'm remiss to do so till I get my blog issue decided or fixed.

Hi, Jay. I let Mike (the developer) know about some of your questions and concerns. I can't answer more of these questions because I've come onto the blog-dev team more recently.

3. Can my REW blog be formatted to match my current website template w/ a horizontal menu bar at top?

A: No. Not the one's located on REW, anyway. In the future we may offer a few different selectable "themes", but custom skins are not planned.

8. Can one not have the 3rd party advertising displayed on the REW blog?

Only Google-ads are supported at the moment.

Phil, I do not think you understand the scenario - Jay is talking about adding an REW blog to his website, he is not talking about a blog hosted here at REW.

Can the REW blog be formatted to look like your site? Absolutely! Here is an example of the REW blogs on a customer site (Beta) http://www.tampahomes24-7.com/real-estate-articles.php

At this point, we are still finishing up the software, so unless you want to be on the beta team (And understand it will be buggy) then you will have to wait for the first stable release.

Do you have to have ads on your REW site, nope, you can have anything you want on it, or no ads at all.

How much? We need to know a lot more about your specific requirements to provide a concrete quote.

Moderate blogs? This has nothing to do with REW blogs, it is your current software, if you want someone to look at it, please post in the work orders forum.

Technorati tags, yeah shouldn't be an issue.

Articles be moved over? Yes but they would have a different file structure.

All right I think I'll move forward with this---just call me bug killer or the Orkin Man---not sure if that company exists in Canada....If not sorry you didn't get the joke.

I noticed the calgary [ http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...ltor/164/show/ ] has a photo added so I know it can done.

Are there some other examples of REW blogs formatted to websites? That tampa guy has hardly written anything and has not added many photos/graphs/ etc.

Look for me in the work order section....
