I saw in another thread and while looking up my domain in whois that there is an SEO score. What is it and is 95% considered good?

Some arbitrary number that the particular domain assigns based on what the people who wrote think of SEO - it's useless as a metric.

That's what I figured. Is there a tool that emulates what Google thinks of one's content?

Yes, I am aware that Google factors in content - along with other things. I am wondering if someone has created some sort of tool that deals only with content.

If anyone knew exactly what google considered important (Algorithmically) in content, they would be very rich and certainly would not disclose it

You are right about the work ethic and abilities but I know in Real Estate when you hang out with and gain the confidence of people who have means - you obviously are exposed to some good opportunities. In addition to that people who have been successful usually think differently than people who run with the crowd. Successful people can sometimes show you the way to get where you want to go if you are willing to listen. It is sort of like the website thing. You can wander around in the dark or work with someone who knows where they are going. I am becoming a better listener

And this there (in the end...) is only ONE scoreboard! It may seem appealling to look to other measures to see if you are headed in the correct direction, but the reality is that it is a competition and there is only one way to find the winners...

(Hint: You can tell you are on the right track already because the people you are hanging out with on this forum are at the top of google--only one way to evaluate SEO guidance as well! Many of these folks are at the top of the heap.)
