This is sort of scary but here goes.

I'd like to have my current blog switched over to an REW blog on my REW site. I want it formatted to my current site's style. I take it one uses the standard CMS to manage it or is there another management system to arrange links, categories, photos, alternate text, etc.

How do we manage all the current blog posts I have w/ photos and all. I assume they can't be just put into the REW blog the way they are now. Perhaps they can be in an archive section and I'll pull up those that I want most and just put them into sections one by one???

I noticed that the blog URLs do not contain the title of the blog posts--that is not good. I assume there's nothing I can do about that. Is there any chance of titles being included in the URLs? Doesn't it matter slightly for some SEO? Maybe I'm mistaken.

Anyway how much would this cost since I'd be helping you all with your blog system including the bugs?

Do you just have the 10 blog posts?

In terms of the blog title in the URL, search engine friendly URL's are important, keyword loaded url's are not. That being said, its not like we can't do it, if you want, its just mod_rewrite, it's just a really clumsy and cumbersome way to do things.

Yes , just the 10 blog articles so far. I'm about to write a whole bunch--have got some great data and info and examples of overpriced listings to have fun with and inspire some dialogue with. But I'd rather wait for the new blog to be set up.

If you so that the URL words don't matter then that's all that matters to me, Webmaster. No need for mod-rewrites or whatever you called them.

My first biological child is due very soon after christmas as well. We are birthing naturally at home after much study/preparation. I just got married in April and adopted her two children. I love it! When kids are 14-28 months they are absolutely hilarious and fun....

For what it's worth, I've added a few more blog posts to my blog that I'd like transferred over. Where do we stand now in terms of timeline???? I know you've been busy but will somebody else be handling it?

So what is the estimated timeline for this endeavor? Again I want to make sure this is clear, the blog will be the rew blog format BUT on my website JustNewListings.com and blended in to my sites style format. I have so much to write about w/ new numbers, trends that are cutting edge that have not come out yet in the press, etc.

I have lots of people telling me they love my blog and its articles. I can see it gives them reason to decide on employing me in many cases.
