I forgot to mention the url is set up as cityname.theurlname.com on the links that they go to. I have the ability with my reseller package to set the same file structure... Does anyone do that with there file structure?

I can tell you that I'vve only taken a glance at it but I wouldn't even think about trying something like that. When I get some time I'll have a closer look.
Maybe seo guy will see this in the meantime and we can both learn something.

What kw's is the site showing up well for?

All the city names... any city name with Real Estate, Its what G picks up in within the Serp. Have you or anyone else have ever used this kind of site structure

You'll find that hotel spammer use the subdomain trick all the time and it worked very well up until 3-4 months ago. Now google just treats them as unique domains and you have to do 10 times the work to get it ranked then if you had just made it a subfolder in the first place:

Bad= keyword.domain.com
good= domain.com/keyword/

This increases your domains pagecount as well so adding more content to your site and increasing its authority in googles eyes.

Thats my 2 bits

A good rule of thumb is go to the most competitive markets and see how many people use a technique, if you dont see it in the top 10 then its not worth doing
