Liquidation
Have just received an e-mail offering to remove my mortgage in 8 months. I don't have one, my home is paid for, but I was fascinated by the communication.
The most common word used is liquidation, although it is used to refer to my non-existent mortage rather than the company sending the e-mail.
As it contained a mass of capital letters and exclamation marks I suppose it must be true. At school we were punished for using exclamation marks, but then most con artists probably went through a slightly different education system, as they splatter them all over the page like rice at a Spanish wedding.
