Unhappy Adcenter vs. Adwords

I'm about to start a campaign but have not decided between Google or Microsoft.

As a newbie, I'd like to know what your experiences have been with either PPC program.

Thanks.

I don't suggest you run ppc's unless you are really savvy about how all this works. Go through the free training Google offers -

https://adwords.google.com/select/ProfessionalWelcome

Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador $75
http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/af/amb.php

Once you have a full understanding on how to set these up, then make a determination which one to use.

Google is more difficult to understand, but costs less on your cpc when done correctly.
Yahoo has just launched their new Panama program, you will want to get into a free workshop to get a grip on how to manage your campaign. They are offering free classes on the management of their new product.
MSN just opened up and easy to manage. Clicks are typically cheaper, go through the FAQ's before attempting to set up a campaign here. Great phone support.

Setting up campaigns is not all the difficult. Understanding how to do this correctly is entirely different.

I want to encourage you to take a Yahoo workshop in your area to get the basics of why and how to set up a campaign. Otherwise, you will waste an incredible amount of time and money trying to figure out how to make this work.
