I am a home inspector with a pr 4 site and growing. My goal is pr 5 or better.

I seem to meet all your basic requirements, except I'm not a Realtor.

Since I meet the spirit of the rules, can my site be added?

also, does my link back HAVE to be on my home page, or can it be on a links page that is indexed and directly accessible from my home page?

that is very unreasonable. This site is for real estate webmasters, which I am. My site is real estate related and I have things to offer to this site.

What possible logical reason could you have for your answer?

A link from a site like mine is just as good as a link from another RE site, possibly better because it offers some diversity.

It may be unreasonable, but it's the rules... I didn't make them. If you have any problems with them.. you will have to take it up with the webmaster.
Relevancy.. and again.. it's the rules here.

The rules are intended to keep out spammers. I am clearly NOT a spammer. This is a "real estate webmaster" site, correct? I am a real estate webmaster who is not being made to feel very welcome here.

Well I am sorry you feel that way, but it is our policy. I have strict instructions from the CEO of this company to maintain this directory, with the rules provided by him.

You're more than welcome to post in our sections and contribute as much as you like. But your link will not be included in our directory, as it does not meet our guidelines.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. I thought we were talking about not allowing me into the section where we talk about trading links. That I think I should be allowed into.

Not including my link into a directory of Realtors I can understand. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

You were talking about being let into the link exchange section? In order to do that you have to contact the webmaster and provide him with your URL. He will look over your site and let you know whether or not you are to be given access to the link exchange section.

This section is made specifically for directory submissions and nothing else. If you wish to talk about link exchange, please post in the appropriate forum... located here:
