I have bad news - Real Estate Webmasters does not allow self promotional spam on our website. Hopefully being banned here doesn't hurt your rankings to much as we were sending you backlinks for your signature, and now they will be gone.

Here is a little forum spamming tip (Other than don't do it) if you are going to try to get away with it

Incidentally, why would a bunch of realtors care that you rank for "Real Estate Directory" - that is your keyword, not theirs. If you came to me as a San Diego realtor and said, Big news I rank first page for San Diego MLS or something, then you have traffic I want. I could care less about your ranking for a non relevant semi competitive term.

What is your take on forum signature backlinks. I've read lately that forum signature links (or at least some) are filtered out by the search engine algorithms.

Also, what about <no follow> tags on signature links? How do they factor into the equation?
