I am about to start a PPC campaign on a new website for mortgage. I have a friend that has had great success using google adwords (her KWs are definately different from mine). I was wondering if anyone could offer some input on which route would be better. I know google has more volume, but I have enough keywords that I really do not need to worry about volume. From what I see, yahoo will be cheaper. Almost all my keywords are .10c on overture. There is really not much competition at all for my keyword selection on yahoo, but on google there are a TON! From what I see, yahoo looks like the logical choice in this case. What scares me is why no one else (0-3) has my keywords running ppc on yahoo, but a lot (8-20) of people are running on google. I'm hoping its only that google won the popularity contest? For those of you with experience on this area, any reccommendation or suggestions why the numbers are the way they are? thanks for any help.

I have thousands of keywords on Google, Yahoo and MSN I would say bid on all three. Set up conversion tracking before you do anything and monitor that closely. Start your bids low if you are on a budget in a week you will know which words are working for you. Suprisingly they may be different in each system which is good. You will have some allstar converters and you will want to bid on those words in every system.
Also do not set your daily budget at $10 and bid $2 click. Manage your budgets by the cost-per-click and geo targeting then set the daily budget way high.
