Your saying it has to be the index page? IF so, just delete my account. I don't link to anyone on my site. I placed you in the page I posted in the submission. If that isn't good enough then just delete me and my account.

Not too sure what you mean by delete your account. I don't have the authority to delete your REW account... but if that's the only reason you came here, maybe you don't belong here. This community is for people looking to expand their knowledge in real estate online, they aren't here for a quick link.

I have removed your link so don't bother submitting my site. Thanks anyway but it doesn't seem quite fair to me. You insist that I place your link directly on my home page. Yet you are not going to place my link directly onto your home page. Hmm? Is that a fair assesment? I would say it is.

As far as joining and my reason for doing so I wasn't joining for the sole benefit of the inclusion. But fair is fair. You place my link and logo on your "home page" and I will do the same. If you are going to place my link on some sub-page then it is only fair that I should be able to do the same.

The choice is yours. I didn't make the rules and I can't change them.

Realty Agent, fair is fair, I agree. However I don't think you understand the benefits on both sides to being listed in the REW directory. You see REW works very hard to provide targeted traffic to all of our submissions (The actual page you are listed on) and we are a true authority on the search engines, so a backlink from an REW page is a huge benefit to you and your search engine rankings. I just did a search for "Palm Harbor MLS" and we are on the first page. Not our main page, but the actual page you would be listed on.

If you had the same authority we do, and ranked on the first page for "Real Estate Web Design" or something similar, then it might be worth it for us to give you a homepage link. But the fact is, you don't and never will carry the authority that REW does, nor will you (Or should you) rank for any of our keywords.

The point being, is by being listed on an appropriate page at REW you recieve much more benefit in traffic and search engine rankings than you could ever provide to REW, however providing a homepage link is the best you can do, so that is what we require. You do have the option of becoming a featured agent without having to provide a homepage link, or any other type of link, the fee is $10 per month, paid yearly, and you get to be the top listing in your area, you also get a much more robust listing, with photos, extra links and a much longer writeup.

Also in terms of fair, did you read the submission policy before you submitted? Keep in mind, you came to our website asking to be listed, not the other way around, so it is only logical that your request be held to our submission policy is it not?

Incidentally here is a google search for you http://www.google.ca/search?q=puyall...ient=firefox-a as you can see the #1 site is www.thedynamicduohomes.com an REW website and featured REW Directory Agent. The #2 listing is his featured listing on REW (Not our homepage, but the proper page that should be ranking, showcasing his business and website.)
