Put a good profile on our site
- There is also some online marketing ideas we have for our members. Good use of email prospect management - old school hard work still has it's place for sure. Start networking and keep a balance between tech and hands on - people still like people. Some of the best guys don't even turn a PC on. Find a good mentor and become a shadow, learn from the best guys in your office or go to the best office in town and find out what the best guys are doing.Last edited by fastrealestate; 02-02-2007 at 09:19 PM. |

From experience - house.com is a complete waste of money. Literally, pile up however much they want to charge you & set it on fire - you'll sell the same # of houses either way.
As far as marketing yourself - I'm a strong believer in working your sphere of influence. Find a referral marketing system & follow it to the letter. A properly designed & marketed website will get you leads - that's either going to cost you some money, or a lot of time & research. IMO, don't waste your money on PPC - go straight for SEO. Either pay someone who knows what they're doing, or start working on research.

Also, never overestimate the intelligence of the average consumer.
It still amazes me how many have no clue that they can search MLS listings online on Realtors' websites. Some people spend their days on craigslist searching for that great deal, contacting dozens of agents. And then you tell them that you can send them new listings by email and their eyes light up. I've been able to drive quite a bit of traffic to my site just posting my broker's listings on CL and putting the link to the MLS search there. Free clicks, even one out of 1000 is still infinite ROI ![]() |
