Default real estate brokers exam

I am a California real estate agent. I live in Orange County. I have a scheduled date of 2/14 to take my brokers exam. I'm taking the exam prep course (DVD format) from Allied Schools. I'm interested in taking a live crash course. Does anyone have any recommendations for crash courses in my area? And do you feel it's necessary? Any advice anyone can give that will help me pass my brokers test would be very much appreciated.

I saw your message as I was looking for the same information. I have not been able to get any feedback. It looks like you took the test yesterday. Did you feel the information you studied was sufficient enough for the test? I would appreciate any feedback. I am going to take the Broker Exam in April. I am trying to decide what type of crash course to take, if any. Thanks!

I am not sure what the real estate exam is like in your state but in Nevada it was pretty tough. I took the broker's exam back in April and it was a piece of cake compared to the real estate exam. I took the class that was offered and it was sufficient!

I took the California brokers exam yesterday. I bought the DVD exam prep with the online practice test as well as the audio CD with practice questions from Allied real estate schools. The DVD prep was 13 hours long and there were over 1800 practice questions. I thought I was very prepared until I opened the booklet at the exam. The test was nothing like the exam prep and practice tests that I got from Allied. I was getting 98% on Allieds practice exams and I didn't feel like I did very well on the actual state exam. The brokers exam was very tough. I used Real Estate trainers in Santa Ana back in 1998 when I got my real estate license. They did a great job of prepaing me back then. I should have used them again for my brokers exam but I had already purchased all of the stuff from Allied. I will know by next Wed. if I passed and I will post again to let you know. Good luck with the brokers exam and give Real Estate trainers a try.

Well, I passed the exam. I was pretty surprised because it was such a tough exam and I didn't feel like the material I studied was sufficient. Good luck on your exam!
