Laid Back Chat We are all friends here and sometimes we just want to chat. It doesn't have to be real estate web development all the time, some times we have a new baby in the family, sometimes we have a beef or boquet. Sit back and relax here.

Default Real Estate CMS Questions

Hello,

I wasn't really sure where to post this so I've posted it here in "Laid Back Chat" (feel free to move it somewhere else).

I'm a programmer who has developed a successful game cms (games as in video games). It's pretty much an all in one solution with everything possibly needed to run a gaming web site... with no knowledge of programming or HTML. It functions very well, has tonnes of features and looks pretty good (design wise) out of the box.

My Mother is a real estate agent and after adapting my current cms to fit her real estate needs I've decided that I will be putting together a professional real estate agent cms... with everything you could possibly need to run a professional real estate agents website.

Features
- Professional default design
- Admin control panel so the agent can manage every aspect of their site with ease and no knowledge of php or HTML
- News system
- Article system
- Complete Listings management system, including:
> Add as many photos as you want to a listing, with no size limit
> Address links to goggle earth so potential buyers can see the area from above
> Property list
> "Recently sold" section
> "Hot" listings
> Print function for listings
> Listings search
- Contact forms
- Link database
- Agent bog so they can publish their thoughts (or whatever)
- Discussion forum so potential customers can register and ask questions (or whatever)
- Custom pages (for misc. info)
- Live support chat system (integrated with flashchat... it's a $5 program) so potential clients can ask questions in real time.
- Testimonials section
- Contact information page
- Advertisement system (insert ads into your website - weather it be for a "hot" properly for sale or other...)
- SEO friendly URL's
- Services such as hosting and domain registration taken care by myself so agents really don't have to do anything technical

What kind of features would you like to see in a real estate cms? (What else other than what I have listed above) should I include?

I intend on licensing the software for $50/month for 1 installation on 1 domain. It should be ready to go in a few months.

Any other ideas, please post them.

Thanks,
Erik
