I recently converted into an REW template using the same domain that was getting decent rankings with in MSN. So my homepage has a different filename now, and Im wondering when/if msn and google will drop the old pages with the old filename? Right now in msn Im #1 and 2 for "oakland Investment Property", but the number two position is the old filename which gives a 404 error when clicked.
You can see it here http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q...ty&FORM=MS NH Will they eventually drop the old pages?

yes once it go back to that page and sees it is gone. unless you still have it up. you might want to do a 301 redirect if it is different content
