I guess I lucked up because as I was getting started as an agent, I ran into 4 prospects - without hardly lifting a finger. Now I am approaching the fruition of this luck - hopefullly - with 2 of these 4 atually closing in the next few weeks.

. . . . that I have not really put a lot of thought into marketing . .. [i know, stupid!!!!] but anyhow, now im beginning to focus on prospecting n marketing . . . aside from my broker's fees which added me to my broker's marketing campaigns . . .
Any ideas that really stand out as "effective" . . . i have been doing . . . "bare minimals" . . . passing out my bus. card to everyone I can strike up a conversation with nad posting them up in various stores . . . I have actually gotten several phone calls from the store-postings - but all of them have been from other loan officers . . .
I have done some online stuff Point2.com, personal webspace, myspace {lol}, . . . ANYONE DO "coupons" for restaurants? Any luck ?
