Default Best place for contact form?

So now that the world knows that I exist, I am trying to go through my pages and optimize them to obtain contacts. People only have 2 choices a phone call or a contact form. I would prefer phone calls , but, I realize that most people won't do that. So I am going with the shortest contact form that I have on all of my pages instead of a seller form and a buyer from and a contact form...I think I prefer short and sweet, but, my opinion doesn't really matter. So where is the best place on the page to have the contact form? Top, middle or bottom, or depends?

From an aesthetic standpoint it makes sense at the bottom of the page. A lot of lead capture designed sites -- like the ones produced by webagentsolutions or success websites -- put a form on every page. In fact, that is the only intent of the website and pages on sites like that...they're all at the bottom of the content.

I've just put my form at the bottom of strategic pages and it seems to be attracting leads to fill it out. We'll see how it does overtime.

I like the bottam of the page contact forms as well. I will have them anywhere they look natural on my new REW website.

Has anyone considered their affects on SERPs? I've heard that G doesn't like them on Adwords accounts as landing pages, so it could be a consideration.

I would like to put a contact form on the sidebar of a wordpress blog. Are there any widgets to do this?

What I'm thinking is an easy sign up for a newsletter or "report."

I have to say that my website is not up to par, but I have heard that as well (that Google doesn't like lead capture on landing pages). Is there actually any truth to that, though?

I would place contact forms on bottom and leave good relevant content at top for SE's to pick up. I don't see why Google would have any problem with a site integrating some type of lead capture into their landing page after all the main reason anyone in any industry uses PPC is to capture leads.

I would place that way so if an user wants to send an email, to be able to send it any second. I would probabily place it on a sidebar, so he would just have to click on it(the sidebar would be on all pages) and i would probabily add it on the listing view pages. Also, i would fill the info on that forms as much as i can, so the user cand send it in a second(he would just have to fill his name)

I like it on a side bar. I understand wanting to have it at the bottom of pages to sort of sneak up on users after they read something attention grabbing, but I think having it on a side bar just looks and feels better.
