When I check my rank on MSN, with the exact same key words, my rank goes from #1 to #3 alternating back and forth. Anyone else see this and know why?
To be more specific, second to second, not day to day. I repeat the same search and it flips from #3 to #1 Last edited by hortex : 03-15-2007 at 04:15 PM. Reason: clarity |

not sure why rank flip flops on SE's like J. Kerry, I'm having the same problem in Google. Everytime I refresh on main keyword dallas real estate I jump from position 11 to 13 I just moved into first page position 10 today and problem stopped.

This is the "dance" of the different MSN and Google datacenters (i.e. one minute you seeing a specific datacenters, then the next minute it switches).

its basically because having many data center.. i would do suggest to use tools and manual for checking your ranking and if they have equal results then real ranking..
