Looking for CMS
Hey,
I am looking for what would be considered the best Real Estate CMS available? Does real estate webmasters sell a cms of there own? thanks.

We have a great CMS, but it is not for sale, it is only available for REW hosted websites and the source is proprietary.

I am talking about a Contact Manager that I can brand as a MediaWorks For Real Estate product to go along with my different NicheWorks Prospect Generating Systems. The end result being that when an agent or Realtor downloads one of my niche marketing systems that it will come incased with the contact management software and all of the postcards, letters, auto responder messages in the system will already be embedded within the Contact Management software making it easier for the agent to keep track of and follow up with all of their niche prospects.

If it's a CMS(Content Management System) your looking for besides REW's system, I 'd recommend Joomla (www.joomla.org) . It's one of the most popular open source CMS out there and free. If it's a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager), I'd recommend Sugar CRM (www.sugarcm.com), both systems can be easily customized.

If it's a content management system you're looking for, Open-Realty is worth checking out. Joomla and Mambo have real estate plugins, but Open-Realty is designed for real estate from the ground up, and I think the learning curve isn't as steep. I just had a set of tutorials built for Open-Realty on my site to make it even easier to learn. It's also open source like Joomla, so there's a lot of community support, templates and function plugins available for it out there to customize on a budget.
