When you go to "explore blogs" there are different areas such as the most popular, highest rated, etc. I don't like the highest rated one (mainly because I am not on it, jk). If you only have one write up and you rank it your self to be a "10" then you end up in that category forever. (OK forever is a little extreme)

Any way to dilute this effect down? Minimum of 10 ratings before it quantifies your results?

Actually we are fixing it so that you cannot rate your own post, that being said, we have also been playing around with the idea of making it a sliding scale - just have to figure out the logic. It plays into what I posted previously about different users carrying different weight based on their own blogs ratings.
