Hello to all; just a quick introduction, then I'll be omw to lurking these parts for a while, readin' , studyin' , and just absorbin' all i can.

Bit o'background on myself; while I am not new to design, SEO, and the 'net as a whole, am very new to the mortgage industry. Currently, am employed 3/days a week as an operations manager for a mortgage broker in the outskirts of NYC for about a year now, and spend the rest of my days maintaining some client websites and freelance IT projects. I have a 21-year corporate america IT-background; 3 years ago I lost my job due to outsourcing and went off on my own - my current employer was a client of mine who offered me an opportunity to learn the mortgage biz and still do freelance stuff. Sorta' like the best of both worlds, learn mortgages and get a steady income for P/T work, and still do freelance stuff to continue my creative side. I'm married with 2 older boys, and the cutest yorkie ever known to man.

Dont know much about the realestate/mortgage side of the webmaster world, but if its any different technically then the stuff I've done over the years, I'd be wholly surprised. I do understand that mortgage and realestate online marketing however, are totally different animals the B2B online or B2C online. I suspect I will learn a whole lot here.

Welp, thats enough about me - glad to be here, glad to have found you all (looks like an active forum and I like that). Looking forward to some great discussions...
