I like the first one the best. The others look good as well but the first one just says something about who the person is. I guess to me it makes more of a honest statement about what kind of person he is. At least that is how they strike me. The other 2 don't really say anything to me, they look like many other websites I have seen.
A website dose not have to say anything artistic though or otherwise, It could just say I am useful comeback often. Jim

Thanks Jim - I guess it pays to have your mom design your site. Suzanne Stephens designed the first site, www.craigparksrealtor.com. Must be nice!

I took a look at the following site: www.jenniferpeschken.com
Some of my comments: 1. The idea of having a large picture on your homepage header, and the consequences of pushing the reader significantly down the page to start getting value has been discussed recently, for better or worse, this is a situation that you are dealing with - we deal with this on one of our sites, and are exploring possibilities to shrink up the height of the header image to allow visitors to start gaining value immediately upon landing on the page....something to consider on your end. 2. The site has some rather "new" graphics with words wrapping around the images, but then the "old" times new roman font doesn't really complement that direction. 3. There is a pretty significant consistency issue across your pages, starting off with the homepage as the baseline, you then move to almost any other page and the background, header, font, and feel changes drastically. This made me feel as though we were going to a completely different site when navigating around through your links. 4. I'm not positive what level of control you have over your head tags, but I would suggest moving all of the javascript into an external file in order to cleanup your code. 5. The email jennifer link on the lower left of the homepage is not properly setup. Hopefully this helps a bit, best of luck!

That "old" font wrapping around the graphics is actually not Times New Roman, but Copperplate.

Some initial quick thoughts:
SITE 1) Not exactly design related, but my first thought was, "what is going on in that picture?". Is that the realtor? If so, I get he's going for a casual feel, but the clothes are baggy and ill-fitting so it comes across more sloppy than laid back, which is a bad image to project. Plus the fake half-smile combined with shadowy eyes unconsciously denotes lack of trustworthiness. But it's still better than the glamour shots a lot of the women Realtors have. I like this design the best of the 3. I'd recommend removing "my" from "my featured listing" it's just unnecessary. Also using "mobile" instead of "cell". SITE 2) Don't like that the header drops off on the right side. Feel incomplete to me, like the job wasn't completed. Also, please make the main rectangle logo box a link back to the homepage. Even though there is the text link, it is just standard that the main graphic goes home. It's where I instinctively clicked. Also, having the layout go from a 3-column home page to a different 3-column layout, where the right is unused and the left changes was weird for me, don't really see the benefit in not maintaining consistency there, especially since the outer columns aren't being used for something else on the inner pages. SITE 3) Ditto to what Boston Condo Guy Said ^^ |

Lane, you'd be amazed how many women contact me wanting to know if Craig is single and available!!! There's a broker in Florida who's been trying to get me to fix Craig up with her niece for a couple of years!
Craig is well-known within whitewater boating community centered around the Nantahala River and Nantahala Outdoor Center in NC and the Ocoee in TN as a world-class kayaker and kayaking instructor, and his broker is a former Olympic decked canoeist, so the look fits his target audience. Around the Nantahala, standard attire is a stinky wetsuit, so his clothes in that photo would be considered formal -- after all, he has on a shirt! His look wouldn't work anywhere else, but it's suitable for his very unique community. Put him in a suit? He would be miserable and people would think he was weird. PS: single, not available.
