Default Blog glitch to fix please....

I've noticed that my blog posts on my website [http://www.justnewlistings.com/arlin...r-butts/show/] have started including the name of the generic blog homepage in addition to the title of the blog post so that my posts have now started having 20 words easy and diluted titles compared to the focus many of them are designed to have.

This did not use to be the case and I think it's a technical glitch that somehow occurred in the last 2 weeks. Some of my posts are very SEO oriented and take hours to write and tune up with outbound links/urls inbound link/urls, images named effectively, etc. I can't have my titles screwed up.

Please fix this week if possible as I have more to write....and a huge portion of my clients are from my blog now.

Or am I wrong? Has the blog title always just been added to the generic blog's name on the title? If so that doesn't seem optimal for targeted SEO, right?

It has always been that way, your blog title is just way to long - it is very similar to how "Real Estate Webmasters Forum" is appended to the title of every post - it can be adjusted, just post in the work orders forum.

Yikes, I guess my title is way too long. Didn't realize it would be part of blog post titles. Sounds like I need to modify it to Jay's Blog and then I can focus on effective blog titles that aren't diluted.

My problem is, Webmaster, that I rank #2 for google for my blog's landing page with that long title for "arlington virginia condos". So I'm scared crapless to change it....See what I mean? At same time I wonder about certain posts that I put a ton of time and tuning into and how much better they could have fared with a better/shorter title? Aaaah!

We could just switch it so it goes behind the post title as opposed to in front of it.
