When setting up a REW blog

When setting up a REW blog I am guessing it is best to do so with same user ID that you use in the forums or is that not the case at all.

Is it better to just set it up in my real name as if I had just come accross the REW blog and had no knolledge of the forums?

There isn't really a best way to do it. Just put whatever you want and it will be fine.

Go to "explore blogs" and see what some others have done. Consider this - potential clients will be reading your blog posts....In my opinion you are best served by using your real name. Forget about the forums and think about what users will think about it.

Authenticity.

I have used my real name everywhere on the web for the same reason. More professional that way. In days past, it was more cool to use a pseudo-name--i.e. Morgan was SEO-Guy...in today's world, it makes more sense to go for who you are IMO.

(grin) I don't think Eric Blackwell will grace any marketing depts on 5th Ave in NYC either....(grin) Just seems to be the trend of things. Like everything else, it will likely change!

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the response, anything that you would say are good to blog on verses not to good to blog on.

I was thinking of doing a blog on market conditions and tips and tricks for home sellers and buyers for each of the towns I try to do business in/know what is going on/have good knowledge of how things work.

One of the things I learned today is there is a market close to us that I have not done any business in and do not market to at all, but anyway what I learned, As a buyer, your offer will not have any weight in that town if rather than having a pre-qual/pre-approval you don't have a mortgage commitment in hand with the offer.
