Thank you for having me. I have been searching the internet for the past couple of months and was recently lucky enough to stumble across this great site. I am a new Realtor and have only been licensed for 3 months now. So there is a lot for me to learn, and this site has been very helpful thus far. I am located in Fort Wayne Indiana. We are 2 hrs north of Indianapolis, 3.5 hrs SE of Chicago and 3 hrs SW of Detroit. The income isn't exactly flowing in right now so I am learning to live with what I have, and what I have is a template website from the late 90's. www.ListWithBontempo.com I know, its that bad. But at least I have IDX. The site has been live now for nearly 3 months. I have been reading up on SEO and doing many things to help my placement upon the big 3. I currently am not ranked on MSN or Google but I am indexed, but I am in the top 100 on a few of my keywords in Yahoo. I am doing PPC with yahoo just to get something generated. I have also added my website to a few real estate directories, and added 2 reciprocal links. Hopefully with the help of this forum and some hard work I can creep up to the front pages of the big 3 in due time. Currently my market is wide open in regards to website advertising. So if I spend the time and money on good content, I don't think it should be a problem leap frogging all of the junk at the top currently.

P.S I do plan on changing my website to either a more custom design package that is offered, or another company such as web masters in due time.

The website isn't as bad as you make it. Granted it's not excellent, just not bad

If I can bestow any knowledge upon you, in your entire stay here, I would recommend to think more of yourself. If you communicate to others to look down on you and your brand, then they will Not saying to get an undeserved ego either!

Welcome to REW, I also am doing what I can with what I got or will have. Cannot afford a custom REW site right now, perhaps next year I can upgrade, but am putting together a custom site which I can further customize over time.

My daily spending limit is currently $5. I average 1300 impressions, and get between 1-5 clicks a day. So I am only spending between .50-1.75 a day depending on the keyword clicked. I have gotten a couple of leads, but nothing that has turned into a sale. Currently I am having a problem with my keywords such as "Fort Wayne Realtor" being out bid by "Fort Worth Realtor". Being that Fort Worth is a huge city, their is no way I am going to pay what they pay to be in the top spots.

Will Yahoo allow you to use negative key words?

anyone know as I don't know the answer to that.
