Hey guys,

Another question on Blogs here at REW, When you actually right one it asks you for Meta description and Meta something else,

What do you actually put in there, what format do you use, and how much is to little, how much it just right, and how much is to much.

Please give examples of actual stuff you put in there in the format you put it in.

Oh, also how do I tie my blog to my Forum stuff, so that say it says see my blog or what ever it says by my forum id. I guess it would be better to change my forum ID to be the same as my blog ID right??

Hey Jim,

You don't HAVE to put something in there. But you can. For the meta tags, you just put keywords in: Articles, Real Estate Agent, Florida Real Estate Etc. For the Metal description, I believe you just write a description of your post:

(This is what I have for my latest blog post)

"A personal checklist of the things I want to get done this summer."

For the forum ID, you mouse over your user name and take the number from the bottom right of your browser (Where it normally says where the link goes)

You can add it in edit profile and then User Information.

ok, will try that, do you do that from your forum cp or from the blog?

Also for the meta, is there a actual format that is used in there. Or your just enter in standard english such as Real Estate Morristown Chatham Florham Park NJ Selling Tips and Help??

You do it from your blog CP.

Just put commas between the keywords.

I think I did it correctly, Where it said REW forum ID: I entered SummitNJ-Realtor but I guess it takes some time for it to take effect.

Hey Summit, put in 8925 into the Forum ID in your blog cp.

your forum ID, and your blog ID have nothing to do with each other

I mean, your forum ID can display your 'view my blog' link (it's in the blog settings), but that's about it.

In meta description, just like you would do a description of a webpage, do a meta description of your post. Use grammar, use spelling.

In the meta keywords, like a site, put your keywords. If you are for example, talking about the Florida Property Tax, you might put 'property tax cut, florida property tax, no more property tax' or something for your keywords.

So what you are saying then brandon is if I right something about home buying as say a trade up buyer, someone who owns a first time home buyer type home but now needs something bigger and more expensive of course and it is about specific towns I would put something like Real Estate Market Chatham, or Smaller Homes Sell Faster Morristown, or I cannot think of any others right now, your thoughts, any ideas?

P.S. is there any problem with listing town names here, and if I do and they are not links, not that I intend to make them links, do the spiders still read them and at least think that the info is somewhat about those towns and conversely somewhat about me, my website once I actually post it?
