And do you use any special software for e-newsletters?
I am wanting to start a database of my contacts but wondering what's the best program (and cheapest, or better yet, free) to use. Thanks for any advice!

My CMS is Top Producer. My home warranty company provides my newsletters.

Moving from Top Producer to Outlook BCM now... and never been happier.

Not the cheapest but the best, TOP PRODUCER.

Top Producer is great if you like a third party company having your client database, and paying $39 per month for the privledge. Their letters are kind of old school and needed to be modified for my taste.
I use Outlook with business contact manager.

I'm not worried about the contact info though - there is an export feature of TP.

I use Brian Rodgers BAP or Busy Agent Pro. It includes a databaset management system, unlimited websites and landing pages, drip email and a whole lot more. The price is pretty good.
I have never used TP, but many in my office do and seem to like it. I just like the whole package from BAP. Rick Hernandez |

Another good one is 360agent.com. I'm familiar with BAP and it is nice from the unlimited websites, lead generation sites, and drip email side, but I don't think it's as robust on the CRM side as 360agent.com or TP.

I use the open-source version of SugarCRM
It's web-based, free, with a thriving support/development community. I can get a customization to fit any need I want for generally less than upfront or 1yr cost of any other CRM. |
