First impression...thought the site was for a "stager" until the bottom of the page loaded. Interesting idea, especially for residential clientele. Probably not best idea for investor or commercial clientele.

Hmmm, Interesting idea. I was a bit confused as well when first clicking on it, even though I had read sadbiss's post and expected to be confused. The fact that all the controls load below the fold is kind of concerning since it is not obvious from what above the fold the site is for. Is there a way to get the controls above the fold?

I like it! Breaks the mold and is simple. I say run with it.

The graphic or drawing is nice, however aside from that it is basically a rip of an agent image website. Also this is your first post, so you likely did not see the sticky, but if you are going to ask for a website review, you must first review someone else's website.

Incidentally, for those of you not familiar with agent image designs, here is a screen from their site - I am sure they would not appreciate having one of their templates copied, I know we don't

Sorry for not reviewing a site first. I will review some on this fourm. In looking at a number of realtor design web sites I did see the agent image site. I don't agree that this is a rip of one of their templates. Though the placements of the icons are they same the style is different. I do appreciate all comments though and value the knowledge on this site. Thanks Joe

Changing colors and pictures does not make a web design unique - if you start by copying someone else's work, then you are creating a derivative work.

Take 2 REW templates
http://www.bennetsebastian.com/
http://www.joann-newhouse.com

The pictures and colors are completely different, however they are exact copies of each other in terms of design - in this case of course it is ok, because they "are" templates, and we own the designs and reserve the right to duplicate our templates - what you have done is copied "someone else's" design, and are taking credit for the create work that went into it, and that is not right.

It's a rip, take it for what it is. Agree with you with your analysis, Morgan.

As far as the site goes, it doesn't really work well for me on 1024 screen. I don't know that it's an agent site an all besides having to read, and when I first see sites...I don't read. Personally.

I would possibly move the bottom menu bar and put it at the top. That why users know what options they have instead of using the scroll bar to discover that.

If you are going to keep it the way it is, pop a Realtor logo in the pic somewhere.

Agent Image was the first thing that popped into my mind, too!

That being said I say switch the top and bottom (now it's your design!), add a big Realtor pin to your lapel, and make the map search bigger, with like a roll over feature that changes color! Instead of pics of dogs, show a pic of a featured home maybe?

Question to webmaster or SEO people, how does a homepage like that get ranked if there are no cities on there?
