I think the site looks great, but unfortunately the homepage does take a while to load. You may want to make the menu available to people while they wait for it to load somehow (sorry, I don't know enough about flash to make any suggestions). I see the menu is also in your footer, but I wouldn't bet on anybody scrolling down to find it.

The good news is that once you reload the homepage it doesn't take as long.

I think the layout is great and it's especially good that you have "Trust our experience" near the top. I know if I was considering buying property in a foreign country that would be my primary concern, so it is good you address that.

Overall, it looks like a good site with good info.

The flash loaded almost instantly for me, but I'm on broadband. However, I'm wondering why it has to reload every page I visit.

I have a general aversion to any site that auto-plays sound, because I'm always listening to music on my computer while surfing. Granted, it's not like you have background music playing (which results in me instantly leaving a site) but the open sound and roll overs clicks don't add anything.

The colors are great. I'm so tired of navy, maroon and light blues on realty sites. Also, the white space is refreshing.

On the contact page, there are phone numbers and a contact form, but not an email address (which I personally prefer, so I have a copy in my outbox). Additionally, the "about us" page is too generic. It doesn't give me a sense of who the company is. As a consumer I'd be asking myself if this is legit.

Will the listing pages be redesigned, because there is clearly a gap in aesthetics between the main site and listings pages.

Very attractive site, benmode, and much more professional-looking than most real estate sites from Central America that I've noticed.

Sigh... my son Craig led kayaking trips to CR every winter for nearly ten years. I want to go there so badly; he says I would love it. And the homes I've seen on HouseHunters Int'l are simply gorgeous. You might enjoy a CR page I did several years ago for the outfitter for whom Craig worked. (I no longer maintain this site and whoever is doing it now has let it get a little shopworn. Wish I had time to completely redo the whole site for them -- it's WAY past due!)

Thanks Lane. Yeah, I think I just got used to the sound it makes everytime I open my browser. There are still a lot of things I need to work on, and your are opinions are being put to consideration. I just think the sounds just livens up the page up a bit.

The listing pages needs a lot of work. I'm on it thanks.

That was a sweet site! It brings me back to Costa Rica. You would really love it there. It will just show you how cool the world is. I hate the monkeys though, they stole my chips one time and climbed up a tree. I've always thought they were cute, but that time, I wanted to rip it apart. Just kidding.
