Suggestions for Getting a new site recognized?
My REW site has been live for 2 weeks now and the search engines are not yet recognizing it. My URL is www.grandametz.com - when I enter the term "grandametz.com" Google does not find it. Any suggestions for quicker recognition?

Hi Granda,
Once you sign up for Webmaster tools you'll want to submit this sitemap to google sitemaps. Then post the confirmation code here so google will verify. I've been told the sitemaps help to speed up indexing. http://www.grandametz.com/sitemap.xml

You have to verify the site in order to use the tools.

I think REW has to insert the code? I didn't think we have access to Meta tag or HTML. Is that right???

Aaron, I logged onto Google today and got the following message -
Verification status: NOT VERIFIED Last attempt May 6, 2007: The verification meta tag is in the wrong location on the page. It must be within the first <HEAD> section of the page.
