I haven't been in the business long, but this is the first time I have heard something like this happening. How many of you show up early to a showing and walk the house first? I try to. But at times I just don't have enough time. My RE instructor did warn some of the ladies in my class to be extra careful. He explained that one of his agents went to show a home late at night. As she was approaching the side door where the lock box was a man with a ski mask approached her. Luckily she saw this man coming and was able to run back to her car and get away. It really make you think about what you could be walking into. Anyone else have any similar stories they would like to share?

Yes it could have been much worse. But even at that it would be an awful situation to be in. Let alone what you would be thinking from this point on when ever your showing a home.
